Tick-Borne Diseases & Leptospirosis - April 22 - Winnipeg

MVMA is pleased to welcome Dr. Meryl J. Littman to Winnipeg on April 22, 2018.
Dr. Meryl Littman, Professor Emerita of Medicine, trained at the University of Pennsylvania and stayed on as a Clinician-Educator for almost 40 years. Her interests include tickborne diseases, Leptospirosis, protein-losing diseases, and genetic kidney diseases. She chaired the ACVIM Lyme Consensus Statement and now Chairs the Update. She served on the IRIS Canine Glomerulonephritis Study Group and the PA Board of Health Task Force for Lyme Disease and Related Tick-Borne Diseases. She is also interested in genetic diseases of Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers (PLN, PLE, IBD, Addison’s, renal dysplasia) and identified variant alleles causing their podocytopathy, making available a DNA test.
