Dr. Wayne Lees Inducted into Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame

The MVMA extends its congratulations to Dr. Wayne Lees on his induction into the Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame!

Dr. Lees was recognized as part of the 2026 class of inductees for his contributions to Manitoba’s agricultural sector. Throughout his career, he has worked in veterinary medicine, animal health, disease surveillance and public health, including serving as Manitoba’s Chief Veterinary Officer.

His career highlights the important role veterinarians play in protecting animal health, supporting agriculture and strengthening communities.

Congratulations, Dr. Lees, on this well-deserved recognition!
