Graydon Veterinary Services seeking Full or Part-Time Veterinarian (MB)

Are you looking to work in a supportive, fun setting? Where interest in learning is matched with mentorship? Where we work hard, but can still smile while we do so and work/life balance is a priority? Then you want to check us out! Graydon Veterinary Services, located in St Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, is looking for a third veterinarian to join our growing mixed animal practice.

If you are determined, hard-working, team-oriented, and want to work in an environment that values customer service, long term client relationships, progressive medicine and client communication, we are looking for you. The ideal candidate should be versatile in their skills, seeking to improve, be able to take responsibility well and work self-directed when necessary. On-call/after-hours participation is split evenly between veterinarians: after hours and on-call work is usually minimal, although there is a slight seasonal increase in the spring. New graduates are welcome to apply and will be provided mentorship and on call back up where needed. Remuneration based on experience and commitment and a bonus schedule is in place.

Graydon Veterinary Services is a 2 location practise with a main office in St Pierre-Jolys and a satellite office in Vita. Our clinic services the south-east area currently with 2 veterinarians and fun, friendly, supportive staff (excellent RVTs and admin staff), taking appointments both in clinic and on farm. Quality medicine is important to us, and we are looking for someone to join this team who feels the same.  We have in house CBC/Chemistry, digital full-body radiography and digital dental radiography. While we see many species, our practice is about 90% small animal, with seasonal cattle, sheep, goat and some occasional horse work. A candidate interested in pursuing equine medicine and growing the equine client base would also be welcome.

St Pierre-Jolys is a well-serviced community located 30 minutes south of Winnipeg on HWY 59, only 10 minutes north of St Malo and the provincial park. Schools in English, French and French-immersion surround the area. Being close to the Park allows individuals the opportunity to take advantage of camping, fishing, swimming and other outdoor activities. We have a lower cost of living in Manitoba, allowing you the opportunity to do more with your salary. We are also offering a relocation bonus for those that may need to move in from out of province to work with us!

How to Apply
Resumes and inquiries may be submitted via e-mail to Dr Venessa Graydon at or be dropped off in person at 29041 Hwy 59 S, St Pierre-Jolys, MB, R0A 1V0. No phone inquiries please.
