Manitoba Bovine Health Update – We’re Excited to Meet Again

The next Manitoba Bovine Health Update is set for 7- 8 p.m. on July 7, 2026.

Now, not everyone may think that setting aside a summer evening to talk about cattle health is fun, but most bovine nerds will appreciate this meeting. We look forward to an exciting discussion on lead toxicosis with Dr. Vanessa Cowan, a toxicologist from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.

This meeting is open to all veterinarians, registered veterinary technologists (RVTs), and veterinary students in the province, as well as representatives from the Manitoba bovine industry and Manitoba Agriculture livestock specialists. We encourage you to share this invite with any interested veterinary students working in your practices this summer.

As with our previous update, the meeting will be recorded, and continuing education certificates will be emailed to those who attend live.

Please contact deanne.wilkinson@gov.mb.ca to be added to the email list.
