Creekside Veterinary Service is a newly established clinic (we will be 5 next year), and with that, we have had the ability to carefully cultivate the culture, clientele and case-load we desire. We are looking to add a 3rd DVM to our team to allow us to continue to grow, pursue individual specialties, and allow for a 4 day work week. While we are a full mixed animal practice, we cater to our large animal clientele with the majority of our caseload being cow/calf and equine (plenty of opportunity to expand companion animal caseload). We have a brand new equine facility, an excellent cattle facility (with hydraulic squeeze), and 99% of emergencies come to the clinic to be treated (if it can be loaded, it is loaded, and brought to us). We do not drive around doing appointments that can be seen at our facility, so if it is not a large group of preg-tests or semen tests it is scheduled at the clinic.
We utilize cloud-based software and EMR’s, have in-house bloodwork, SAA, Stalo Cannon DR, Sonoscape Digital Ultrasound with Doppler, bovine ultrasounds and all the other usual clinic equipment. As a locally owned and operated clinic we pride ourselves in our ability to sit down as team to make clinic decisions that best fit our goals, have flexibility in scheduling, and making changes to whatever may need it in real time.

Compensation package includes salary, dues/licensing, health insurance, CE budget, and clothing allowance.

Maple Creek is located in southwestern Saskatchewan. Known for its mild winters, it is vibrant ranching and rodeo community with plenty of opportunities to get outside and enjoy the Cypress Hills Destination Area. It is small town with all the amenities of a larger center, and if you can’t find what you need, Medicine Hat is a short 45 min drive for big box stores and airport.
