Mixed Animal Veterinarian – Beausejour, MB

Beausejour Animal Hospital has a newly available opportunity for a mixed animal position as one of our recent grads is leaving to seek equine specialization.    We are a 14-veterinarian mixed animal practice conveniently located between Winnipeg and Manitoba’s beautiful eastern park region.  The location has an ideal rural/urban balance.  Within 35 minutes of the clinic, you can be in the cottage country or the city, all while living in a growing community of 4000.  The town boasts an inviting atmosphere and excellent schools, hospital, recreational facilities, and outdoor activities at our fingertips.
The team at Beausejour Animal hospital has years of extensive experience with mentoring students and new grads which provides and excellent opportunity for beginning practitioners.  It would be our pleasure to put you in touch with some of our associates and students to get a non-filtered version of the collaboration within the practice.   We strive to foster an environment of support to enable new vets and seasoned vets enjoy their job and thrive in our profession.
Our clinic facility is 4 years old and has more than the usual modern practice equipment which allows us to practice the best standard of care.
The clinic is 55% companion animal and 45% farm animal, which allows us to tailor caseloads to your preferences.  Our large animal practice component consists of mostly dairy and beef, with some equine and small ruminant care provided.  We dedicate our time to developing new graduate’s skills by having them with us on large animal calls for several weeks. This ensures they are comfortable on farm and familiar with the area at the beginning of their career.  An interest in bovine reproduction would be an asset
