An Event You Won’t Want to Miss! Membership Engagement & Awards Evening and Dinner set for February 11

The clock is running! Tickets now available for MVMA Member Engagement and Awards Evening, set for Saturday, February 11 at The Gates on Roblin in Headingly, Manitoba.

Each year, Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) members recognize those who have made significant contributions to the advancement of veterinary medicine in this province. To mark such achievements, the MVMA will host the Membership Engagement and Awards Evening and Dinner that is open for all to attend.

The event will highlight the many outstanding achievements in veterinary medicine over the past 12 months, including the Veterinarian of the Year award. A number of honourary and lifetime memberships will also be presented along with certificates of merit for exemplary service to the profession in Manitoba.

“This will be a time to mark the many contributions that veterinary medicine delivers to the broader community each and every day,” MVMA Executive Director Corey Wilson says. “We invite and encourage everyone to join us to properly acknowledge and salute the tremendous impact our members have on so many aspects of day–to–day life in Manitoba.”

The awards evening and dinner will be preceded by a Continuing Education session from Amy Oliver & Co. on professional leadership and business coaching. All attendees will earn one hour of CE credit.

The day will also feature a Town Hall session where members can gather to discuss the state of the profession in Manitoba. Click here to see the lineup of activities for the day.

The awards evening will include a full course dinner at the ambient Gates On Roblin, one of the finest and most prestigious locations in the province that includes complementary refreshments.

A limited number of tickets are now available, on a first–come, first–served basis, at $50 for vets, $25 for RVT’s and other guests. Click here to get yours today! The event is proudly presented by Boehringer Ingelheim.

“This will be a great day for the veterinary community in Manitoba,” Corey Wilson adds, “and we would love to see as many folks turn out for what will be an exciting and rewarding day for all.”
