Consultation Matters

As the governing body of the Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), the MVMA Council upholds its obligations to serve and protect the public interest by monitoring risks present in the practice of veterinary medicine in Manitoba and ensuring that the association properly carries out its functions.

While eligible members ultimately have the right to express their opinion on a proposed by-law through voting, the MVMA Council seeks input from members at various points of projects to ensure that the MVMA Council is considering and learning from the experience, knowledge and expertise of members.

The MVMA Council thanks you for participating in this consultation process. The MVMA is best able to regulate veterinary medicine and advocate for members when membership is actively engaged.
